WAUBONSIE STUDENT

What is something you're good at & what is something you love to do?

High school should be a time of exploration, discovering your passions, developing your strengths, and contemplating career pathways. Waubonsie Valley's annual Career Connections program is designed to help you start that career exploration process.  Before Career Connections begins, students are encouraged to visit SchooLinks to complete a variety of interest inventories. Using the results from these surveys, all freshmen will attend a Career Fair on October 24th and then register for Career Week Panel Presentations during their Advisory period. Sophomores, Juniors and Seniors are also encouraged to participate in these exploratory activities as well.  On October 24th, local businesses, unions and agencies will greet students in the field house for our annual Career Fair. Then between November 14-19, community members representing the 16 Career Clusters will visit Waubonsie to share their experiences directly with students.
