WAUBONSIE STUDENT

2023-24 College Visits at Waubonsie Valley

Each year admissions representatives from colleges, universities, trade schools and the military visit Waubonsie Valley during the school day to give presentations about their schools and to meet Waubonsie Valley students. Attending a college rep visit is a good way for students to gain information about a school he/she is potentially interested in to see if it would be a good fit and to get their questions answered. This is one way of building or narrowing a college list to decide which schools to visit and ultimately to which to apply.

All college visits are held  in the College & Career Center, unless posted otherwise. Please bring your student ID or StudentVue app to check in. Students can view all upcoming visits and register to attend sessions through their SchooLinks account.

If you are attending a college visit during your lunch period, you do not need to complete a permission form.

If you are attending a college visit outside of your lunch period, please fill out a  COLLEGE VISIT PERMISSION FORM  at least 24 hours in advance. Secure your teacher signature giving permission for you to attend during class time.  Bring the signed permission slip with you to the visit.  Students will not be permitted to attend a college visit during an academic period without prior permission.  Students who miss class to attend a college visit without a pass will be marked unexcused in their attendance.
